ART SHOW AND OPEN HOUSE…Check your calendars – the date of the Art Show and Open house has changed. Your children’s works of art will be on display during the Art Show, in the LGI, beginning at 6:30 pm on Thursday, March 29th, and throughout the entire Open House period from 7 – 8 pm. Please stop by – the children are very proud of their projects and they love to share them with their family and friends. IMPORTANT…FRIDAY, MARCH 30 IS A REGULAR SCHOOL DAY.
Thursday, April 5, is a minimum day and Spring Break begins April 6. Students will return to school on Monday, April 16.
Sibling Registration…Please remember that the form regarding intent to register your child for kindergarten is not a completed registration. If you have not already done so, please bring the required paperwork to school and complete registration forms. The deadline is April 15. If you have not completed registration by that date you will lose your sibling priority and go to the end of the wait list.
Congratulations to our “Raffle Ticket Sales Contest” winners.

Project Wee Care: Monthly Pick-Up Thursday March 1st
The next monthly Project Wee Care Samaritan House pickup will be on Thursday, April 5th. Samaritan House is hoping to collect items for infants and children this month: diapers, wipes, bottles, healthy after-school snacks, and new or gently-used toys are greatly appreciated. If you would like to make a donation, please bring it to the designated ‘Wee Care’ boxes in each classroom, or leave it in the barrel in the tunnel.
Questions? Please contact Julie Schmittdiel, Wee Care Chair, at jschmittdiel@yahoo.com
#3 Installment in a Series On Efficient Use of Your Appliances
Appliances account for about 20 percent of a household’s annual electricity use. Most of our nation’s electricity is generated from fossil fuels (such as coal and natural gas), which contribute to
global warming and air and water pollution. No matter what model appliance you own, there are easy ways to make sure it is using as little electricity as possible:
Please remember to be kind to the environment so that your (and everyone’s) children, grandchildren and their children and grandchildren can live long and healthy lives!
